I have two children living in Adelaide. My daughter Annie, husband Boyd have five children, Jessisa 22, Joshua 19, Charlotte 16, Matilda 12 & Georgina 10. Son David & wife Kathy have 2 children, Laura 12 & Mitchell 10. They have all encouraged me to do this work in Cambodia.

My Church and Pastors are very supportive and encouraging and I am so thankful for them too. Between the years of 1996 and 2000 I made a number of trips to Cambodia. I was deeply disturbed when I saw landmine survivors destitute and begging, shunned by society and with little help available to them.

One Sunday morning in June 2000 during a church service in Adelaide I had a vision of a large area of vacant land that I recognised as being similar to land that I had seen in Cambodia. I saw a factory appear on the land and later a dormitory-style housing block and finally a church appeared. In seeing this vision I felt that God had challenged me to establish a sheltered workshop factory for people that are disabled by landmines, to give them quality of life, meaningful employment and assisted living.

This vision was the birth of what has become known as "Reverse The Curse Of Landmines". Reverse the Curse has the potential to become a prototype for other places to emulate in their care for people with landmine related disabilities. I did not come to this position with a previous history of factory management, but rather one of office administration and missionary service, (previously in Japan).

The challenges of establishing the factory and producing high quality dried fruit products have been hugeI see the joy and pride of achievement that the staff members derive from their work and a joy To witness the improvement to the quality of their lives and those of their families.

The vision for RTC is becoming reality, but we need your help to take it to the next level.

We have the land we need and a small premises, but ask your help to take us to the next level.

Please consider suppporting us in any way you can as we seek to raise the $500,000USD needed to build the new factory for RTC in Cambodia.
